Hi, I’m Mom. I also get referred to as Mamba, Mommio and sometimes even Mamagee. My favorite thing to do is explore. Explore nature, explore our city, and explore if I can copy that cool thing I saw on pinterest. I am always busy doing a project. Little projects, big projects and even a few way in over my head projects. I am currently a stay at home mom, which is by far the hardest job I’ve ever had, but I’m thankful to be able to do it.
Then there’s Dad. He’s the best at putting up with and helping with all of my projects. No they aren’t all MY projects, but if you ask him, he’ll say they are. He’s also really great at doing a lot of his own projects, and finishing MOST of them. Dad is an even bigger outdoor enthusiast. If the world suddenly came to an end and I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere, with nothing, you bet I want to be stuck with him. He’s so good we wouldn’t even have to worry about having to eat bugs, thankfully…because that might be a deal breaker. Dad is also an extremist. If it isn’t the biggest, loudest, tallest, fastest…it doesn’t cut it.
We met in highschool and have been best friends since. Before kids, we were adventurous. We traveled, snowboarded every chance we could and we camped all summer long. We even went skydiving!
Then 2 became 3. Big sis changed our lives forever. She made everything harder, and required us to take A LOT more stuff everywhere we went. The day she got her bike, she asked if she could ride it down her slide (of course, the answer was no). She is always up for an adventure and thankfully has taken a liking to everything Mom and Dad like. If it wasn’t for baths and swimming, she would be covered in dirt ALL the time. She loves animals…dogs, dinosaurs, and her favorite of all, horses.
Then we were 4. Lil sis quickly learned to sleep through home renovations. She spent more time in a tent before she was one, than most people will in their life. Now she is equally adventurous as big sis and maybe even more of a daredevil. She has always been into bugs, lots of dirt and of course, horses.
Welcome to our life. These are our journeys, our projects and the milestones we’ve accomplished so far.
